An employer must appoint, employ or hire a competent person called the Noise Risk Assessor to carry out a noise assessment in accordance with the standards set by the Department.
Noise Risk Assessor (NRA) must :
Undertake a noise risk assessment at the workplace as required by the Occupational Safety and Health (Noise Exposure) Regulations 2019 throughout the registration period's validity.
Make sure the noise measuring equipment is accurately calibrated before conducting any noise risk assessments, and notify the director of the relevant DOSH state at least 14 days beforehand.

Complete the noise risk assessment and deliver a comprehensive report to the employer within 30 days of completion
After the assessment is finished, the employer must receive the results of the evaluation and recommendations for noise control within 30 days
Must also deliver the noise risk assessment summary report (per Appendix 9) to the Director General.
